| About: | Alba Bar & Grill is a place for good dining in great atmosphere at rates that do not burn a hole in your pocket! The restaurant is located just ten minutes from downtown Boston. Although it's a small and slightly noisy place, Alba stands out with a bar at one end and tables at the other. Everyone is friendly including the patrons with the waiting staff and vice versa. Dishes which come highly recommended are the rack of lamb, veal osso bucco with flavorful dark sauce, filet mignon, lobster tail with scalloped potatoes and tall green spears of asparagus. |

User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsThis was our first time at Alba. The food was ok, but really over priced. I ordered the pork loin, and after 30 min's they brought me a rack of lamb. I don't know who's fault it was but I didn't say anything since we had already waited 30 min's. I assumed the baked potato was included, it wasen't, I had to pay an extra $6.50 for the potato. I had tea and was never offered a refill.
Service = Slow
Food = Avgerage quality.
Price = Very over priced.

We had our office holiday party in their private vault. Both the food & service was outstanding. Even the owner came in to see how we were doing & recommend a wine. The steaks were as good as you can get. Highly recommended.
