Legal Sea Foods was very, very good. Prior to my visit, my experience with eating seafood was very, very limited. On this visit I had an experienced seafood eater so I had some helpful suggestions. Yes the price is more expensive than usual, but the quality of the food is worth it, and there are items that aren't quite as expensive and they even have some non seafood items, a few. The service was great and they were packed. There are televisions so you could watch a game or two. They even have some regionally and locally brewed beer. The food was awesome. I had a firesmoked sampler that included shrimp, tuna and salmon. For an appetizer we had crabcakes and they were AWESOME. I highly recommend it for anyone even if you are leary about seafood or have never tried it. The food is local so you can feel good about that.
First off our server was SO PLEASANT! (I don't like over friendly servers - comes off fake, she was a blessing!) I was having the most stresed out day but her pleasant and her manner put me right at ease! Now this place is still in a mall - which I find cheesy - but the food is SO HIGH END! No need to trudge into Boston! They had a lunch menu so cost was lower. The decor was very high end. They even had an elegant bar where you could eat and flat screen TVs
