Don't listen to any bad reviews!! This is by far the best italian restaurant on the South Shore. The decor is fantastic but the food is incredible. The pork chops are famous. they are huge and the most juicy I have ever eaten. Their pizza is fantastic, the fish and chips out of this world. I have had the fried scallops, pork chops and vinegar peppers, meatball subs, pizza, steak, an array of salads and all were of the freshest quality and the service is great. Prices are very reasonable for example $16.95 for two huge porkchops, salad and side or for the same two pork chops with vinegar peppers and side of pasta. You can't finish it in teh restaurant you have to take it home in doggy bags. I have been coming here for over 30 years now.

I remember going to the Venetian as a child about ten years ago and my parents always raving about the place. I took my boyfriend there for his birthday and it was absolutely awful! The antipasto was made up of wilted lettuce, topped with a can of tuna, one piece of cheese, and a half of a slice of salami. THe waitress suggested that my boyfriend try the fish and chips and he ended up sending them back because it was so terrible. My chicken parm was decent but the waitress didn't bother to bring our drinks until the meals showed up. The ambiance is not so favorable as well. Definitely would not waste my money there again!

My family has been going there for years and the food was great . Recently though the quality of the food attitude of the waitstaff and the rise in the menu prices has turned us away what a shame !
