About:Owned by the same family since 1917, this seafood shanty was once considered a local secret. Now the word has got out. If you demand elegant decor or an extensive wine list, look elsewhere. But if you want New England-style seafood, check it out. Seafood chowder and fried calamari are among the appetizers. The seafood platterwith fried clams, scallops, shrimp and scrodis excellent. Broiled fish and lobster plates are good bets. There are also burgers and steak. For dessert, try one of the homemade pies. The restaurant serves beer and wine.

Terrible service, terrible atmosphere and even more terrible was the food. I went to the bathroom, someone had a bowel movement on the seat, the table was filthy, the waiter was an 60ish y.o. man who had no personality, who never checked if the food was okay. The food was terrible. I had the lobster platter, thinking it would be a whole lobster it had a few pieces of lobster with scallops and shrimp and was extremely salty. my daughter ordered the broiled seafood platter and the fish was overdone, dry with no taste. Sorry place for a restaurant --no wonder it has no name. I would be embarrassed to have my name on it if it was my restaurant.

I have been to the No Name numerous times and love the food and atmosphere. The seafood is fresh and the chowda is some of the best in town. However I will never go there again and would reccomend you don't either all because of one waitress there. She is horribley mean to customers. Swears at them and treats different nationalities like there a lesser person then her. I belive her name was cara and just because of her I will never go back to that esatblishment. It is really a shame that the owner keeps her as a waitress it cost him my buisness and if you ever have her I'm sure you won't go back either.
