We always enjoy the Boston Children's Museum, and their recent updates are great. This museum easily takes a whole day or multiple days for the little ones to enjoy everything.
Boston Children's Museum is phenomenal!!! A must do w/kids if your here... close to Aquarium, Has a 3d theatre as well...
Absolutely wonderful place. With two small children (ages 4 and 1), we visit lots of places for kids and have visted numerous children's museums. This was, by far, the best of the bunch! Really clean place with a ton of stuff to do. Seriously, this place is huge, spanning 3 floors with far more exhibits than these types of museums normally feature. And the exhibits themselves are of the highest quality, both engaging and educational for the little ones. The staff was great and super friendly and helpful. There is also a place to eat if you have brought lunch, or you can buy lunch from Au Bon Pain. We choose to biy lunch and we got a really great meal at a very reasonable price. The museum is located just about 3 blocks (a very short walk) from a major station with both subway and train service going there, so even if you don't want to drive, it is simple to get to. All in all, I can't recommended this place enough. We even used a discounted admission (which we got from our local library - ask yours about it) to get in for only $2 each. So we paid a total of $8 for our family of four to spend the entire day. And trust me, plan for the whole day! There is so much to do here that the kids will NOT want to leave!
