I trust him with my life - and my poor old spine: Dr. Madore generally uses a painless adjustment technique, utilizing a small adjustment tool. After years of often painful manual adjustments, finding him and his technique was a joyous relief.

My L3-L4-L5 area is bad but I am trying to avoid surgery. Of course, even at 64, I still want to bike-hike and play a little golf so Dr. Madore has his hands full with me. However, he keeps me in good balance and this allows me to live my regular life. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my spine. And, he often goes to seminars to keep updated. We discuss new therapies and exchange thoughts as to what might work best for me. I'm waiting for him to get back from the most recent one so we can look into a reliable permanent repair that has more than a 50-50 chance of total recovery. So far most surgeries can leave a patient without relief and I'd rather avoid a surgery that doesn't have a higher success rate with pain relief. There is a new clinical trial out that I next want to discuss with him at my next visit. If I can pick which of the two surgeries they are comparing I want I'm interested. If not, I'll wait a little longer. Dr. Madore tells me there are a lot of upcoming surgical treatments and each one gets better that the last one.
