User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI have been a client of New Concepts Salon for several years and have never been more pleased with a local business. I have always lived in this area but for years was guilty of being a "salon hopper" never fully satisfied. Upon a friends recomendation I scheduled an appointment at New Concepts and have never left. Everyone is so friendly and knowledgable, these girls go out of their way to accomodate me with whatever request I have. To summarize if you are unsatisified at your salon make the switch and I promise you will never look back!

This has become an unfriendly neighborhood salon: The staff is almost all changed over now; I only recognize a few gals. Changeover like that only indicates poor employer relations. The owner's personality is very unpredictable. She can be nice sometimes but really snippy (no pun intended) most of the time. Her phone manners need much improvement. She doesn't show much caring for clients of her staff members or the staff members themselves. I have even heard her refer to her awesome brow and facial gal as "her assistant" to a guy from Redken or Paul Mitchell. Overheard by me "Don't leave me many products today 'my assistant' (who puts all the products away) is on vacation".
Don't call their and get the owner if you have a problem either..such as hair dye on your face/temples or if you need some kind of assistance.

This person must be reviewing the wrong salon. New Concepts is one of the friendliest salons that I have ever been in. All of the stylists there have been there for several years and the ones who chose to venture off on their own had been there for 14-16 years which says something about the owner and co-workers. Salons that stay in business for more than 16 years and keep the stylists for so long are obviously doing something right!
