I found this place to be a great value. In town for business when the yankees were in town and prices everywhere were quite steep. This place was much more reasonable and I found it to be clean and confortable. Kind of a B&B. All private baths. 11 rooms. I would rocommend, especially for the price. Star value is based on value.

Friendly service staff and cozy atmosphere. Great location, with the T running right outside. Walking distance to Fenway ballpark and local restaurants. I would definitely return on my next trip to Boston, and I would absolutely recommend the Beacon Inn to anyone traveling to Boston.

I recently stayed at the Beacon Inn at 1087 Beacon Street. I thought the Inn was nice and I liked the access to the subway and the neighborhood was great. I do think my room could use some updating. The wallpaper was very worn and needed replacing. The headboard on my bed was broken and needed repairing. One of the drawers on the entertainment center needed a handle. The toilet lid was very loose and the shower never completly turned off which was a waste of water. The floor needed a good sweeping, there was a lot of dust behind the night stand. I do think I would stay at this Inn again, but it would be good if these repairs would be made. Everyone was very friendly and helpful at the Inn.
