    we saw Dr Abramson MD ; he is thorough and helpful; I think my best friend saw him years ago and said; he was the best doctor she had seen in years; he has a great secretary; My father said; you are made and broken by your secretary; indeed; My mother is 91; I wouldn't mind if he saw her too; he was helpful, and respectful; we are identical twins and worry about each other; he handelled the situation better than anyone I have seen so far; awf,esq; other people are good too but lack in either a secretary who is helpful or other; he happens to have both a good secretary and an incredible bounty of medical knowledge; good advising as to how to take care of ourselves; We were pleased; awf/epf

    Dr Abramson gave a great physical, including providing general wellness advice that he wouldn't get paid for. One example of that was he noticed my feet were relatively flat, and asked if I experience foot pain when spending a lot of time on my feet (which I do, but wouldn't think to bring up). I commented that I did, and that my dad has custom inserts. He mentioned that rather than getting custom ones, I could probably go The Walking Company and stand on a device they have, and I could get inserts that weren't custom, but were designed for the characteristics of my foot, and save a lot of money while getting all of the benefits (assuming my foot wasn't super weird).

    There was also an insurance glitch, which it appears his office resolved without forcing me to fill out extra paperwork. I'm allowed one physical per year, but my visit was originally coded as "preventative", which my insurance company denied for exceeding my limit (I previously had been to a travel clinic for trips to Costa Rica and India). After getting the form in the mail, I dreaded having to fill out all kinds of paperwork for an appeal, but upon looking up my explanation of benefits online, it appears his office resubmitted the claim with more information, and it was paid. Incidentally, during my physical I mentioned going to a travel clinic, and he recommended just calling him up for future international trips, to get the right prescriptions without needing an office visit, saving time and money.

    I can't say enough good stuff about Dr. Abramson. Amazingly, he was recommended to me by a friend (unsolicited, which really impressed me), and now I'm recommending him as well. He is what a primary care physician should be.

    We think Dr. Abramson is the best doctor our family has ever had, end of story.
