Like many others, I have had mediocre-to-bad experiences with with the big name brokerage houses. Finding Susan has been a blessing, and relieved my financial anxiety. My family has worked with Susan and her staff for well over a decade now. She has kept our portfolios growing steadily, and we have not suffered in the downturns. She keeps us well diversified in long term investments which have outperformed the benchmarks, but without additional risk. She is sensitive to real trends and shifts, but immune to investment fads. She has become more than a financial planner, she is a trusted friend. We depended on her help and advice when my mother was widowed. Susan has helped me with decisions besides retirement planning, such as "how much should I spend on a house?" and "Is it prudent to buy a new car now?" Susan and her staff are very accessible, and always happy to explain investment decisions.

Kaplan Financial Newton, MA: An outstanding financial consultant. Very professional, responsive and able. Completely turned around our rotten investment record after very bad prior experiences with Merrill Lynch and Fidelity (we needed to resort to working with the Securities and Exchange Commission in Boston to sort out a huge error by Fidelity in our account--in their favor, of course.

Personal wordd-of-mouth recomendation from a friend of a relative led us to Susan Kaplan; I went to hear her give a talk at the Public Library in Newton, MA, and also learned she has a radio programon investment planning on Sunday mornngs. Susan has been a delight to work with and her staff of 4 or 5 have been very helpful also. A referral from Susan to a tax consultant has also worked out very well. We are happy to give her an outstanding recommendation.
