Despite the young age of the company, it's officers and management team have been involved in the residential elevator and accessibility industry since 2003 with the start of Abbey Home Elevator. Abbey Home Elevator of Northern California (AHNC) was founded in 2003 by entrepreneur Scott Zoetewey with the help of several partners. This company grew to become a profitable establishment providing quality durable goods and services to the Residential Elevator, Stairlift and Accessibility market. In 2006, ThyssenKrupp Access Corporation (TKA) purchased (AHNC) to secure a position in the consumer direct market. ThyssenKrupp Access continued to provide quality goods and services until April, 2012. Diamond Elevator purchased the assets of the San Ramon store on May 1, 2012. Diamond Elevator Inc. and ThyssenKrupp Access Corporation came to a mutual agreement of which Diamond Elevator would continue to service and maintain existing and future customers of TKA. DEI has a combined industry experience of over 50 years and continues to adapt and grow to the industry's needs. We offer products ranging from basic home elevators, low rise commercial elevators, accessibility solutions, dumbwaiters and service repairs to custom high-end elevators.
