Sorry, Sandy (see next reviewer), we can't agree with you. We often drive from Buzzards Bay, cross the bridges, just to go to Marshland. We live near Lindsay's, Barnacle Bills, and Baileys and choose to make the drive to Marshland. We have found the dishes to be very generous and well prepared. Several of the waitresses have been there over the many years that we have been going. We believe that one of the owners is a cook in the kitchen and very conscious of the quality of food served.
My favorite is the half-pound cheese burger. Comes with fries. But often I will get lured by one of the daily specials off the blackboard.
We usually stop in the bakery on the way out for several cookies to take home. One of the ladies in the bakery has worked there for roughly 40 years!
We have taken many friends and family members to Marshlands. In each case they enjoyed it as much as we did. We have NEVER had a bad meal there!
Bring cash ... I don't think they take plastic. If you forget, there is a Bank of America ATM right next door. The two of us usually get out of there for comfortably under $20.
We tried Marshland II at 315 Cotuit Rd (just off Rt 130) on the other side of Sandwich - It just didn't have the same friendly personality. It was just another strip-mall restaurant with good food. -

Sorry can't agree. It is like so many Cape restaurants. So-so at best. There are many truly bad restaurants, some good restaurants and a very few really fine ones.
On the whole, like most, mediocrity reigns

you must have picked a bad day prices for thease times are still very affordable food is asways great
I've been 5 times in two months SUPER food,price,service,quiet locals,clean.Where has crabby been eating? Worth the trip!
