User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsThe Impudent Oyster is always one of our favorite places for dinner or a late lunch when visiting the Cape. A must for my husband is the Mussels. During a recent lunch, my husband was served a bad Mussels. The Mussel was black and turned almost filmy and went all over his hands. This Mussel was through his entire meal, which left him with no appetite. Our waiter could have cared less. He just removed the plate. We paid full price for our meals and left with a bad taste. We'll need to find a new favorite.

The "Incompetent" Oyster has the rudest emplyoees. We ended up not even eating there due to a very rude bartender and hostess who would not let us sit at the bar because even though we were told it was first come first serve basis... the empty seats were on a wait list?? After reading the other reviews I'm glad we did not eat here even if they say the food is good. I would rateher waste my money on an over priced restaurant in Boston.
User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsThe so so food and rude staff honestly don't support the prices. About the only thing really going for it is the decorations and the location. If you are okay with crass staff it might be an OK choice the food as stated is soo some of it is awesome and some not so great it may depend on the night of the week and the cook working I'm not sure Ive gone several times it really is hit or miss...
