There is no better place to get a sandwich/soup on the Cape. Seriously! The sandwiches are so fresh and made to-order with great care, you can just tell. The bread is baked fresh, you can smell it baking from the parking lot The pumpernickle and squash are favorites. You call in early AM and they will pack you all your sandwiches, chips, and drinks in one of their big coolers for pick up on the way to the beach. Hard to pick a best sandwich but the cottage by the bay is awesome. Tuna is delicious. If you get there in time for gazpacho, get it! So good. Love the squash soup. The owners are lovely, if you stay and eat in, they will come by your table with extra baked treats, if you are lucky. Hmmmm. Wish it were not winter!

Loved, good food, friendly owners.: Great place to have lunch or to stop to relax for tea and good bread, lovely people, wonderfull sandwiches, every town need this kind of place.
