About:The Lobster Hutt has been offering its unique eating experience "in the rough" for several years. Eating here is fun, casual and sometimes quite lively - ideal for families. You are expected to make a mess while cracking open and eating the lobster, clams or fish you've chosen. A red boat sits atop this funky building on the edge of a tiny Wellfleet inlet, and it is just a short ride off Route 6, near the center of Wellfleet. The restaurant does not have a liquor license.

    Fantastic place to have a wonderful meal! Everything about it is perfect, from the outside raw bar while waiting for a table and the ambiance inside once you are seated. Really, really fun, and well worth the sometimes lengthy wait. Food is the best on the Cape by far.
