| About: | The menu at Ardeo covers the northern Mediterranean coast: from pasta and thin crust pizza (baked in their wood stone oven) to lamb kebabs, falafel and baked Lebanese pie. Most of the wonderful fish dishes are prepared in Provencal style. You can have a great meal-to-go or linger in the restaurant and enjoy a sampling from the extensive wine list. The retro-yet-modern decor is, much like the food itself; surprisingly chic for the Cape. There is a decent selection of vegetarian items. Functions of up to 150 can be accommodated. Reservations recommended for large parties. |

Excellent meals, nicely presented with attentive service
I would always recommend this location over the other Ardeos on Cape Cod. Owner is spread too thin and quality across restaurants is spotty. Hyannis location is poorly run, as is the Kingsway location.
Attention to detail and good service have always been hallmarks of the Yarmouth location and it is quite disappointing to find such a disparity.
Great Service, Great Time Everytime: I've been going to Ardeo in Yarmouth for many years. The food is consistently great (greek salad, lamb, angus tips, huge bowls of pasta), the specials are unique creations by chef Rob (bass, rack of lamb, mahi mahi) and the service is impeccable. The staff is so accommodating whether it's a special order or requesting certain waiters, like our favorite, Leeroy. We always feel welcomed at Ardeo. And for you drinkers, the martinis are the biggest and best around. Try the Espresso Martini or the Blue Coconut by Shelly or Jeff. A must try!!
Ardeo on Main Street is more urban than the original in Yarmouth. The decor is reminiscent of a bar in Boston, as is the late night crowd. The menu is identical to that of Yarmouth, but the specials are different for each restaurant. The staff is not as attentive as the Yarmouth workers, but that could be due to the fact that we rarely go to the Hyannis store. We've been regulars in Yarmouth at least once a week for a long time. I think the Hyannis store is a good place for main street walkers and evening partiers.
Yarmouth is a great place to start your night off before heading to Hyannis, or for a relaxed dinner with a loved one or friends.
