User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsWeatherlaine's is right down the street from my house, so my husband and I have started going. I really like it there! It is tight quarters but I don't think it's too bad. Their appetizers are really great. I had the french onion steak sandwich once and it was delish. The fries are awesome. The next time I had the veggie stir fry and it was really good. Everything is fresh. Prices are reasonable!! My sister, her husband, my husband and Iwent out and the bill was $80 with 2 apps, chowder, and 4 meals. Plenty to bring home, too.

Instead of the local pizza joint I decide on Weatherlaine's on County St. I called in an order for pick up. On his way home from work my boyfriend stopped in to pick up the order. Upon his arrival, much to his dismay, the bartender says "that'll be $30.00." "Thirty dollars?!" my boyfriend says to himself as he's driving towards the bank to apply for a loan.
We don't mind spending $30.00 for a meal. However, this was a take out order that didn't even include two drinks. For $15.00 a plate I expect it to be cooked to perfection. Unfortunately for us the fish was overcooked.
Next time I think I'll try the dive down the street for $8.45 a plate. Atleast we'll get a salad with it.-

we have been going to wetherlaines for at least 10 years. prob twice a month. we have never had a bad meal . the calamari is with out a doubt the best around. i do agree the staf is going down a little but we try to grab our usual two girls (who have been there forever) i love reading some of the outsiders rev,almost comical at times. if you want great food and your not in a rush this is the place!

I never ate there myself but I once dated a girl who loved Weatherlanes, she couldn't say enough good about it. But she was sort of a snob anyway, I'm surprised she even ate there because she was one of the "brand-friendly" people who would only buy from big chains and eat at franchises but she liked it.
i thought it was expensive, too, for fish and chips but it's not their fault that you ordered and didn't know the prices...
