User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI've been getting my Thanksgiving turkeys here for the last 5 years. It is the freshest best tasting turkey I have found. They are absolutely wonderful and pleasant to deal with. If you are interested, you must order ahead of time and pay cash to pick it up. But it is well worth it!

Well, on Thanksgiving this year I got myself a turkey kit from a local restaurant...I don't want to say who but let's just say it was a Market in Boston. It was the worse turkey I've ever smelled. It had already spoiled and filled my house with a nasty smell for a couple of days (it comes wrapped in a bag to cook in so it's too late when you open it).
I decided for Christmas to get the freshest turkey I could. Since this farm is only a few minutes away I gave it a shot. Boy was it good! The tenderest and juiciest turkey I've ever eaten...it was so juicy and tender that I didn't need a knife to cut it, just the side of my fork!
They include cooking paper and directions with the turkey and I followed them to the letter, and wasn't disappointed. I suggest you do the same. It only took about 3 hours to cook.
This is my new turkey place from now on. I can't speak for the other person but I knew enough to order a turkey a month ahead of time, especially before a holiday. They were pleasant enough and the woman who helped me when I went there to pick it up was very nice. -

Kinda rude. They were sold out so I can't speak to the quality of their birds. But they sure were unpleasant on the phone.
