My daughter Georgianna loved this school. She went for 3yrs and she did have one child that didn't like her so there was a couple of things that happend to her at school.I felt they handled things with care and understanding for both children. I will be sending my 3yr odd there very soon. I am positive things will go well. I love April and her staff. I also am hopeful that one bad review doesn't harm what she has works so hard for.
My daughter went to this preschool.....BIG MISTAKE! She was, for lack of a better word, being harassed by another child. He started pushing her, and I thought , ok, normal kid stuff....then he started bending her fingers back, not so normal. The owner said that they were "keeping the two kids seperated", and that for soome reason the little boy "just did not like my daughter". yet they really did nothing to address the problem. when I told my daughter (then just 4 yrs old) that if he came near her and tried to hurt her to to push him away and get the teacher. she told me she couldn't because the little boy told her "she better not make him any angrier, or else". I informed the school of this and they still did nothing. durring this time my daughter spent as little time at school as possible, and I was activly looking for a new daycare for her. The final straw was when he stabbed her in the hand with a lead pencil, for this they "wrote him up". When I spoke to the director's husband (the other owner) he was condesending, to say the least. He told me that this boy was not the only over active child in the school, and that my daughter would have to "deal" with these issues at any childcare facility. Now, I realize that children can have problems with each other, and no child is perfect. I do not blame any child for acting out as that boy did. I blame his parents and the school for not protecting a 4 year old. The real kicker is that the school finally did make that boy leave, I just have to wonder how many children did he hurt before that happened, and who was helping HIM? do your children a favor, STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCHOOL!!!
