User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsMel's is the best breakfast in town, hands down!!! If you're feeling really ambitious, try the Hungry Dinner's Special. Eggs, just how you like em, bacon, sausage, homefries, pancakes, beans, choice of toast (I am a fan of the grilled blueberry bread)...and all the coffee you can drink. The staff is friendly and after going a few times, they really get to know you. Before I moved out of Taunton, Mel's was the only breakfast worth getting. I still go back when I visit...and to be honest, the 9 hour flight from Germay isn't sounding so long now that I'm thinking about that bluberry bread!!!

User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsGood ole Mel: Mel cooks a mean breakfast with a comfy atmosphere. My sons and I eat breakfast out every Sunday and most of the time this is were we end up....I have been eating at Mels for 18 years...started with my ex husband and my oldest son when he was just a baby.
