User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsA Great Eatery In Newport: The first time I went to Salas' was back in 1987 when I was dating my wife, who is from Newport. I'd never heard of the place even though I hung out with a lot of my friends in the City By The Sea every weekend. It's a quaint, busy, noisy place located upstairs from a bar, but the food there is some of the best and it's not very pricey. I love the oriental spaghetti and fried rice, even if it's an Italian place. The service is great, the food always excellent and at a reasonable price. I love the place and we go almost every time we're back in Newport.
