We've been to this place twice. Both times the food was good. First time our waitress was great, but the second time our waitress was horrible. She never smiled and did not make eye contact with us at all...We will go back for the food but hopefully the service gets better....
We've lived in the area for nearly ten years. 84 High Street was always a favorite but not lately. We went in late December 2008 for appetizers in the bar and were sorely disappointed. The website says half price apps from 4-6 M-F but even though we were there during that time, they weren't half price nor did the waitress offer them up as such. Speaking of the waitress, the service was awful and it was almost like we were an inconvenience to her even though we ordered drinks, two apps and a meal. The bar was VERY loud and just all in all, it wasn't the kind of dining experience from years past we knew to be 84 High. Such a shame.
Have been here many times and it is always consistantly good.
