Great pasta dishes. I ordered the gnocchi with Aurora sauce - absolutely fantastic! The flavors are delicious and the quality is first-rate. Plus the portions are huge - I'm not a small person, love my Italian food, and went in hungry, and still couldn't finish my meal.
The atmosphere is cozy - relaxed enough to stop by for lunch before a PawSox game, but refined enough for a nice dinner. The servers are friendly, professional, and attentive. I'll be going back again and again and bringing friends. Highly recommend.
My Favorite Italian: My wife and I both love Italian food. We like to go into Boston and hit the North End, and try other Italian places when available. We always come to the conclusion that we should have gone to Cassarino's. Food is always good and you don't pay a fortune. We just went to Dolce Vita in Boston and we do like the place, but Cassarino's is better
Excellent Italian food: This place has a large and varied menu (goat cheese appetizer and chicken parmesan dinner on the same menu). Food and service are high quality. The atmosphere is sophisticated but you can go there dressed very casually.
