| About: | Angelo's is a third generation Italian family restaurant that's been serving patrons on Federal Hill since 1924. It has a casual dining environment of booths and counters, but the food is hearty, satisfying Italian and American at very low prices. Their pastas are popular and their meat dishes are good, too. They also offer a full bar. Since they do not take reservations, you will want to get to Angelo's early for dinner to beat the crowds at this popular eatery. Cash only. |

This is THE worst place on Fed Hill. For those of you who think that this is "italian" food, you MUST be kidding yourself. No one is holding a gun up to your head writing these reviews, you are full of it. Any place that has a broccoli sandwich on the menu is a place no one should ever visit! This food was disgraceful! Sauce was out of a can, ravioli was not even cooked all the way. The food I serve volunteering at the food kitchen taste better than this!
Diner Italian Style Comfort Food: OK, so it's not the best food on the Hill, but it's the cheapest and it's definitely not the worst. I'd describe Angelo's as comfort food. Sometimes you have to sit with strangers at lunchtime which is funny. Get the homemade macaroni and a side of meatballs. They come with fries. If they have the eggplant appetizer, get it. Yum.
Great Eats, Italian Style: I've been there on many occasions and will be going again, Good Service, Good Food, Valet Service eves and week-ends
