I placed a surprise lunch delivery order on 07/10/09 for a friend of mine. Pleasant and fast ordering process with helpful yet not imposing suggestions when asked for. Delivery person called me back from the destination (large office building) informing of difficulties with delivery since there was no one in the office I specified in my order. Without any problem agreed to deliver to two alternate rooms. Very polite and courteous delivery person. Delivered
at the requested time - sharp. Per friend - food was excellent and portions generous. Per me - reasonable price. I am glad I found them.
DO NOT ORDER FROM SICILIA'S. My boyfriend and I tried to enjoy a nice pizza delivered to us, but when he bit into his last slice, he bit into a piece of CHEWED GUM. Upon complaining, the manager/owner accused us of chewing the gum and putting it on there ourselves and would not reason with us at all. Their customer service stinks and they are clearly not up to health standards.
Way the heck back in 92 when I was in college I lived on Sicilia's deep dish personal pizza. OH MY GOD! IT ROCKED! My friends' hated me cause I didn't put on a pound even though I was eating or rather had Sicilia's deliver probably 3 times a week. I can't wait for trip back east in October...believe me this will be my first stop.
Take a taste you won't be disappointed.
Amazing Deep Dish!: I only have tried the deep dish so far but looking to go back to try the thin crust. the deep dish is so good and so filling! 2 pieces and I was completely full! Get a small or medium for 2 people. Never get a large! Impossible to eat it all.
Good Food Worst Service in the State: I have ordered from this place on many occasions. The food is fine. However, if we could get our order right that would be a great benefit. On almost every order, they mess up. The bigger issue is the handling of the mistake. They lie to you on the phone and state the order is going out. However, you can count on either not getting the rest of the order or it coming several hours late. The people who speaking to you in regards to the mistake are so rude it will just turn you off. The delivery driver at one point would not give me change because he felt that he deserved a larger amount on his tip. I simple asked for the money and he gave me the changes he felt I should get. This experience was one of the worst I have ever dealt with in regards to delivery. When I spoke to the quote manager, it was not taken seriously.
Again the food is fine, the services is the worst in the STATE.
