Don't be fooled by the colorful pictures on Snookers' website! They have practically NO signage on the exterior of their building, let alone the brightly colored contemporary neon signs shown on the website. The parking is minimal and it is difficult to maneuver even a small car around if the lot is HALF full. Once inside, it's dark, giving an unkept atmosphere right away. Don't be surprised if you're not greeted immediately to get a table, even though there maybe staff available. Scantilly clad waitresses (there are many) are not attentive and are often seen not doing much. When you do get their attention, don't expect courtesy. Rudeness and arrogance is par for the course here. As far as the beer menu, well, it's the basic selection for a sports bar. The food is ok...but don't expect it hot! The Monday (8-ball) and Wednesday (9-ball) tournaments have large draws. They are well organized with a high-tech tournament chart. However, if you're not a regular or even a semi-regular you will immediately notice favoritism.
You may have a more enjoyable experience than I at Snookers, but there ARE other pool alternatives in Rhode Island.
