Sushi is good, but over priced. Steak was good quality and of relative good value. Service was good, but not great. What really made us mad was the fact that we ate dinner there, two people with a bill over $100 and finished our meal at 10:45. We had a couple friends meet us there and pulled a table next to ours. I had asked the server if this was alright and she said she had no problem with it. 5 min later, her comes the snobby hostess telling us these tables are reserved and we had to get up. We explained that we just finished our meal, and she said "well the other table has to get up then". Real considerate. We stayed almost an hour and a half after being "kicked out" of our table for a few drinks and they didn't seat anyone in either of the tables the whole time. Will not go back to ten, and i have been there multiple times in the last few months.
Great restaurant! Food is always good, sides are super, death by mashed potato is a must try. Only complaint is they have very limited bathrooms, and after 10 on a friday or saturday, you can expect a long wait as the bar really fills up. They should have seperate facilities for bar patrons and diners.
The food is excellent. The sushi was absolutely fabulous and from what my dinner mates said, the steak was equally as good. I had a 3lb lobster that was fantastic. HOWEVER, it was insanely expensive. Dinner for 4 of us cost $400. For the kind of money they are charging I really thought the atmosphere should have been more elegant and the service just a touch more attentive. You can get alot of really great food in RI and you don't have to pay $100 a person for it. With no real ambiance, as much as I enjoyed my meal, I would not go back as I think it is a rip off.
