Mark and I had the pleasure of dining at Marchetti's on Saturday the 5th of September after dropping my daughter Jaclyn off for her fisrt day at college at Johnson & Wales University and I just wanted to say that, this is by far the best restaurant I've ever eaten at... Everyone there was very welcoming and the restaurant was incredible... Our waiter Ryan came and greeted us with a warm and very friendly smile... He brought us our drinks and took our order... Before our appetizer's arrived he brought us a salad and bread with garlic dipping oil that was so mouth watering... Mark started with The Calamari Alla Mama and for the meal he had The Veal Saltimbocca... I started with The Stuffed Mushroom Caps and for my meal I ordered The Chicken Saltimbocca... Everything was amazing and I would highly
recommend Marchetti's to anyone going to Rhode Island... We are going back to Marchetti's in October for my daughter Jaclyn's birthday and I can't wait... I want to Thank Everyone at Marchetti's for making our first visit so pleasurable and we plan on visiting everytime we are in Rhode Island... Can't wait to go back :)

i have been dinning at Marchetti's for years - for me it is the filet - it is as good as / if not better than anywhere and when you consier the price it can't be beat. Stuffed mushrooms are excellent, my son loves the baked stuff shirmp and my husband is a fan of their grilled chicken - simple, but tasty.

only once i can recall the filet being too well done for my taste. by the time the server came back to the table the folks i was dining with were just about done with their meals, so i asked them to just take it off the bill. she returned and said that they would make me another at no charge. I told her not to worry about it - after all, no place is perfect all the time. When we left, the waitress handed me a filet to go, we had sandwiches the next day - now that is service at its BEST!

WE have been regulars to Marchetti's for a number of years. dining almost every Sat.and sometines during the week. food is good price is right.portions are huge. We usually sit at the bar but the place is so crowded with customers waiting to eat that we have moved on to another restaurant. RI has plentuy of them. We go to Marchetti's now once every two months.
