That s the spirit! You gotta take the bad with the good sometimes. :) I will report to the board about the smoking issue that admittedly IS a problem, and I m sure they will address it as soon as they have the funds. We welcome guests, but as a member, I find it offensive when we allow non-members in and they repay the privilage by bad-mouthing the place. It s a private club people! They work hard and do their best to entertain their members and their guests. Perhaps they can pick up additional smoke-eaters cheap from public places where you are no longer allowed to smoke. I will make the suggestion.

Sorry you were driven away by the smoke but it IS a bar in a private club, all if which have smoking in the club section only. I know many people who only smoke when they drink. Their choice. Unfortunately for you, most of the members smoke and some are members just so they CAN smoke when they are drinking. It is a matter if choice, and a privilage to be admitted if you are there as a non-member. Go pay double price for your drinks and be smoke-free.
