Auto Fair Honda of Manchester had some of the best selection that I have found. The representative was very helpful and only showed me what I was looking for in my price range. They are definitely a recommended dealership.
This experience was a nightmare. Over 2 hours of miserable haggling. They offered me $100 for my trade-in, which is the next best thing to stealing my car. They added a $1495 "certification fee" to the list price. and there document/title fee is the max at $399. In the end they refused to sell me the car at the agreed price (after all that haggling!) unless i financed through them and took it that night. I walked out for the second time that night and will never go back.
I ended up at Portsmouth Ford (soon to be portsmouth kia) who gave me a great deal at the listed price, no haggling, no fake fees, and $1500 for my trade in which exactly matched the blue book value. Maybe autofair will take a lesson on how to do business.
Labor Day 2010, I purchased from Autofair a new 2010 Ford Escape. From the initial contact with Scott (the salesman) it turned out to be one of the most painless and pleasant experiences of my car buying in 50 years. They even arranged the financing, and at terms that were more favorable than my Credit Union could provide. I have had it in to the service department for 3 add-on features that had not been installed at the factory that I felt a need for. Painless, timely, and vehicle was returned promptly. One visit even required the use of their shuttle to my home and back, no issues, prompt and pleasant.
Granted, it is early yet, But from what I have experienced thus far, I see no signs that relationship with AutoFair will be anything but positive.
