One of the things I really miss since moving to Florida. Jordans is a MUST if you are in the Lakes Region. Absolutely the BEST ice cream in NH.

The ice cream at Jordan’s is amazing. There is a great atmosphere there with a real family run feeling. All the kids that work there are extremely friendly and the place is spotless! It’s definitely worth the trip.
Jordan's used to have my favorite flavor---Raspberry Truffle, and in the 90's, when the father ran the business, it was absolutely chockfull of truffles and I told everyone everywhere how fabulous it was!
I have been away from the area these past number of years until this summer. Today was the 3rd time this summer I had that flavor, and there was just 1 truffle in my cone, and when I went back to share my feedback, the owner (the son of previous owner, I believe), was very condescending and not professional, not interested in his customer by saying "what did I expect, with just one scoop?" I told him I'd gotten a quart about a month ago and I was lucky if there were 10 truffles in the whole container! Besides that being disappointing, the way he was rude and didn't believe me and basically dismissed my feedback is the reason I will not return nor will I refer anyone any longer.
after reading this rating i have a few comments. yes, the father, mr. jordan still is the person that runs the shop, though he does have a son that works there too. i am also very surprised that anyone there would intentionally be rude. i go there very often and i can say that i am in complete shock that a staff member would have that kind of attitude, the only thing i can think of being the cause would have been if there was a lot of stress that day, causing irritablity to rise. i know that in the tubs of ice cream, since the truffles are put in by hand, sometimes you will get more or less in different scoops, making it hard to promise a lot every time. one of the biggest things i would say that you need to consider as to the difference in amount of truffles is cost. to get the products it costs a lot more now than in the 90's, and with the high level of quality jordans strives for they do have to use slightly less than they would have in the 90's because they would lose money or break even with the product.
i know that they have had a few of these types of problems similar to what you have stated, and i know that they have told the scooping staff to make sure there is more in each scoop.
that is the feedback i have. and i know that they have been doing there best to fix these problems, if the owner hears things like this he works on it right away so the problem does not get worse. i would hope that you one day try again and hope that your experience would not be much more pleasent.
