User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsUsed to be a great place. .: Really pricey as compared to other places in the area. While the owner does not use msg in his food, he also does not use much meat in his servings. Order the beef terriaki and you will be horrified when you actually see how little the portion is that you actually get for your money. Chicken based meals are also exceptionally skimpy consisting of mostly batter that has been fried in LARD ! Yes the place in conveinent, but if you want a real value and good healthy food, you are better off driving to Concord and going to cheng yang lee. Example is the pupu platter for 2. At cheng yang lee, it is 12 dollars. At Sampan, it is a whopping 19.00 and the portions are extremely skimpy and lacking. My adive is to aviod this place at all cost as it is just not worth going there anymore..

User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsSAMPAN RESTURANT: My opionion of the sampan resturant is that it is the best chinese food in this town plus i know the owner mark and he is a very up beet always smiling, but even if the food is a little on the pricy side it is worth it, and go in and sit it is a very relaxing atmosphere nice music, and the waiters and waitresses are always nice...
