User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsSpectacular Service: I bought my first sewing machine, a New Home 2022, from Bittersweet Fabric Shop in 1990. Since that time I have purchased a used Serger, later upgraded to a brand new model and ultimately a Janome 10000. I know that I will always receive dependable service from the Lavalley family.
There is more to buying a sewing machine than just spending money and taking it home. They require maintenance, and sometimes repairs, which I know is available at Bittersweet. Dave Lavalley will go out of his way to get my sewing machines back in tip top running condition as soon as possible. I know I will get the best service from this shop and, if advice is needed, the staff is more than willing to spend the time necessary to help me. I can't say enough about this wonderful shop and the Lavalley family. Marilyn-

Excellent! I love Bittersweet Fabrics: After 20 years, I purchased my second sewing machine from Bittersweet Fabrics. At that time, I did not need a new machine, because my 20 year-old machine was still working perfectly. I wanted a new, faster machine after starting a custom window treatment business.
The staff at Bittersweet Fabrics always goes above and beyond the call of duty and Iâm always treated with courtesy. It is really nice to have your machine in the hands of someone so knowledgeable. I would never buy a home sewing machine from anyone other than Bittersweet Fabrics and would never have someone other than Bittersweet Fabrics service my machine. 
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsFantastic: I bought my Janome embroidery/sewing machine there 7 or so years ago and still when I go back they treat me like I just bought it. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I would recommend going there for any sewing machine needs.
