Very good Italian food. A little on the pricey side but its worth it for a nice night out or special occasion. A nice touch is the open kitchen so you can see them preparing your meal. The only complaint i have is it does take awhile to get your food so only go when you can relax and enjoy. But def. worth the wait. Been a few times and have always gotten a great meal.
My husband and I found Nicola's when we were looking for a romantic place for Valentine's Day. It was the most incredible place! I would have to say that Aspicio is not a food connoisseur, nor a chef. Yes pasta is pasta, when you're in a grocery store. Not here. All the pasta used at Nicola's is fresh (that means it did not come out of a box) and hand-made. Quality ingredients are not cheap! The atmosphere is part of the "zeit geist" of the foodie movement. The restaurant is small but is also intimate. The idea that the food served is overpriced is ridiculous! The food is amazing as is the wine selection. We have returned for 4 years on Valentines Day and for other important celebrations. A notable dish of immediate recollection is venisen with risotto in a red wine reduction. Aspicio, you may want to try the Olive Garden, because as you say, pasta is just pasta and in that warehouse size restaurant you'll have plenty of elbow room!
recently dropped of my son at keanne state college and ate at this restaurant the food matched the atmosphere it was excellent the chef has a passion for his food in the open kitchen you know that the food quality is superior and will go again when in new hampshire
