User Rating: 5 out of 5 starswonderful Walmart: We have never been to a more beautiful Walmart than the Great Supercenter in Hillsborough New Hampshire. The Manager, Drew Carter, greeted us at the entrance with pictures of his 2 punch knockout of an opponent in his last fight. We were also extremely impressed with his knowledge of Wetland issues. My wife was very impressed with his assistant, Rex Gray, who is very knowledgeable regarding the nocturnal mating habits of the New England Wild Turkey. When I discovered my wallet was missing, Rex took us to the local Payday Advance store where I was able to get a temporary Loan at a reasonable rate (18%). Everyone was so friendly and courteous, we will be coming back as soon as I pay off this loan. Come to the New Hillsborough Walmart, You'll be glad you did.

Walmart talk is false.: The talk of a Walmart coming to Hillsborough New Hampshire has been going on since the mid 90's. It's all wishful thinking.
Hillsborough is a dumpy little New England town in the middle of nowhere. The locale could never support a Walmart.
There is another review here that mentions Environmental problems in Hillsborough and they are very real. The area is prone to flooding and there are ongoing pollution problems that the state has elected to ignore due to local corruption and the communities inability to resolve. Walmart would never build a store in Hillsborough. It's not worth the trouble.
