We stopped here to eat lunch on our way through New Hampshire - the only stop we ended up making btw. We had to wait to even be acknowledged for 15 minutes. Once seated, we ordered shortly then after waiting at a table for nearly 45 minutes the cook/owner started yelling at his waitresses! He was yelling because there were too many orders for him to make. It was nearly 1:30 and they close at 2pm and he kept yelling that he was the owner and he could kick everyone out. The place was packed and we all fell silent as he raged. He yelled for at least 5 minutes be fore we walked out. We ended up leaving without getting to eat and I will never go back there!

Some friends who Live in the Jefferson area brought me to The Water Wheel when I went up there for a weekend getaway. The food was delicious and served in very large portions at an unbelievably reasonable price. Our server was very nice and was quick to strike up a conversation with us. One of the best places I've ever been to! I'm definitely going back the next time I'm in the area!

Love it Love it Love it!!: This is the best breakfast house around. The wait is sometimes horrible as people will be even waiting outdoors, but the food is great and at an extremely reasonable price.
I don't think I have ever left there unhappy!
