My family and I really like Redhook. The atmosphere is lively and a welcoming place to even bring your kids. The food is wonderful and the drinks are refreshing, of course. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. I have had no issues with their serving or the quality of the food. Everyone is pleasant as well. We have had to wait a bit sometimes to be seated due to the limited seating so that's the only reason they didn't receive 5 stars.

Don't bother: We started with potato skins. They showed up at our table old and cold. I guess they had been baked earlier in the day or week. When I say cold, I mean cold as in refrigerated, not just not warm. So, we sent the order back.

Not only didn't we received a new order . . . a server brought back the same plate of potato skins with our appetizer plates from before on top. I guess someone thought it would be okay to throw the whole thing in a microwave and bring it back re-reheated.

Our waitress came by and was equally disgusted with the appetizer which we told her we no longer wanted.

Our meal was fine but nothing special.
Dessert was pretty much just removed from the cellophane and plated.
