Saco Bound Canoe & Kayak

Every year we take the whole family to Saco Bound for a great adventure on the river. You can't go wrong for less than $25 (with the coupon!) a day renting a boat. Also, we bought a canoe and a kayak recently from their paddling shop. Best prices online and no sales tax. Highly recommended for the family reunion or a day to blow off some steam from work or school. Saco Bound, their staff and prices are the best!

Beware of purchases too! Although the prices are great, I bought a new kayak and made immediate payment. A week later, I still had heard nothing...no tracking number, receipt, etc... I finally called for 3 days in a row to try to find out where my boat was. On the third day I found out that THEY HAD NOT EVEN SHIPPED IT YET! Finally afters days of telephone calls, they got it onto a truck. It still took over a week to receive the boat. I had ordered the boat two weeks before a trip, but when the time came...no boat and I was stuck in one of my old kayaks for the weekend. All in all, the deal on the boat was great, but I guess what they say is true...you get what you pay for.

Horrible!! We made reservations in advance, and when we arrived we still had to wait for over an hour to get someone to wait on us. The customer service is the worst I have seen in a long time. There is no reason for how bad it was. There was people drinking beer in the store. Just not a good family atmosphere at all. The three kayaks that we rented were falling apart. They offer kayaks with "Dry Bays" This is not true if the covers are missing completely. Then they look at you like your the moron when you ask for one that isn't broken. THe whole thing was just a joke. I would never go back to this poorly run junkyard. Thanks for wasting my time and money SacoBound
