Excellent service, especially for an automotive repair shop. It is highly unlikely that you will find a service shop that even attempts to care for the customer like Dover Auto. Very professional and good communication.
Granted, the prices of any certified dealer will be higher, but the level of care you receive will far surpass that which you normally receive from your local grease monkey.
Fast and friendly: They were very nice and even washed my car. The work was done right the first time and on time! I will deff. return for service.
Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere: I own a Honda Civic and recently went in to have some routine maintenance done on my car since I just went over 60,000 miles. The recommended service was $300+ so I elected to get a $70 service. The main difference was no replacement of air filters, transmission fluid, and A/C filter. Those can be done elsewhere for less than the close to $300 difference.
After my car's maintenance was complete I get in my car to see that the wiper fluid that had run out was still not replaced and interior head lamp was still out. The surprising part was these were supposed to be checked during the maintenance. The paperwork had both checked out as being okay! I went back in and asked if the fluids did not include wiper fluid and if the interior lamps did not include the head lamp and they said both were part of the maintenance and checked out okay, which I then corrected.
Needless to say, they went back in and fixed the problems they had supposedly checked already. Is this the maintenance I paid for? I certainly hope they didn't just check off other ites as being okay when they really weren't!! The service team certainly didn't miss an opportunity to offer me 4 new tires for a cost well over $400 plus an adjustment around $100. I definitely could find 4 quality tires for less than $400 (I think they offered them to me for about $460).
These 2 things were minor, as was not getting my car washed after a service like they always do (they offered the person after me as I was leaving...never mind that my car had tons of salt on it after weeks of snow). This was the straw that broke the camels back because I've had problems previously with them.
Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere and trust that your service is actually being done and not just checked off and being okay.
