User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsMy daughter is very picky about her hair as well. Her hair is extremely thick, long, and curly. As a result, it is very difficult to get a good haircut that works with her hair type and one she likes. She went to this salon a bit apprehensive but left very pleased with the treatment she received. The stylist she had, Amanda, was only a level 2 but very professional and highly qualified. My daughters hair cut was amazing. It fit her lifestyle and face perfectly. She looked absolutely beautiful. I definently agreed that it was the best cut she had ever had. I loved her hairstyle as much as she did and decided that that was where I would get my hair done for the upcoming college graduation. When I called to make my appointment I was very disappointed to hear there were none available. Surprisingly, Amanda offered to come in on her day off just to do my hair. I was stunned but elated. When I arrived I was greeted with a warm smile and a firm handshake. After introductions I was sat in a chair and offered a drink which was served with a sincere smile. Amanda then spent about 20 minutes just talking to me asking me what I wanted; a color, partial highlight, and cut/style. I was a bit nervous about the color Amanda chose for my hair but decided to trust her expertise. I was nervous throughout the process but after it was complete I was thrilled and I have received nothing but rave compliments from friends and family. The color is very natural and so are the highlights. The cut is cute and one that I feel I can maintain on my own. Amanda was definetly a professional stylist with a lot of knowledge; she is one I will continue to see as often as possible even though she is 2 1/2 hours away. I am from Vermont but I think it will make for a great day trip that I will look forward to combining a trip to the outlet stores, beach, and salon.

User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThe best experience of my life!!!: I would highly reccommend Hair Excitement to all my friends and family. From the moment I called to make an appoiintment to the moment I paid I felt as though I was the only one that mattered to my designer. I recieved the ultimate experience (friendly smiles, hand massage, scalp massage, kindness) It was worth every penny I spent. You don't find many places with a high standard of customer service anymore...they have made it an art!

I go Here all the time but when i recintly got my hair cut there a week or so ago i find that now when I put my hair up (which i do alot being a young sporty girl) I have a short thick clump of hair that falls down. I need a clip to hold it up. My hair is also now about 1 inch shorter then I asked for it to be. I got my hair cut my Kim who is nice but a little inexperinced. I hope to be getting layers soon and I am comsidering not getting my hair cut by Kim. Haley
