I have never dealt with a company that was so helpful and easy to deal with. I called on a Thursday afternoon with a problem, the sliding porch door was locked shut and the lock was broken. We use this door to let our dogs in and out to the fenced in part of our property, and the only other gate was snowed in (and a 50 foot hike through the snow to get there). I phoned Portland Glass in Exeter and Rebecca answered. She was extremely helpful, and called to see if the service rep (I believe his name is Bob) could make it on Friday. He was booked up, but offered to come over early on Saturday morning, prior to his shift actually beginning. He showed up exactly at 7:00 am as he said he would, and within a half hour, was able to get the door open and operational. He then took down all of the needed information, and Portland Glass worked with Harvey Industries to have a new lock mechanism delivered to me. I installed the new lock, but found that they had not included the lever which operates the lock. I tried to replace it with one from Lowes, but it did not work correctly. I called Portland Glass again, and Rebecca immediately remembered the issue and was again very helpful. She offered to get the part at their warehouse in Manchester the next morning and bring it to Exeter so I could pick it up at the local office. I can't tell you enough how professional and helpful these people were to me and I would highly recommend them to anyone.
