Have been there a few times to please my mother, but we both agree there are far better places that actually care about the customer just up the street. I would actually go to Burger King before Al's. I can't eat seafood. Twice (forgot about the first time) have ordered a cheeseburger with cooked onions. Nope. There was one other table in use - still couldn't manage it "we just don't DO that and if it's busy we don't even make cheeseburgers". Now, a burger from Al's is a trip. Prefab, cooked 15 minutes past death, and raw onions. Most establishments in this economy are making an extra effort to bring customers back. There are several places in the area that DO care, and can manage a burger, onions AND a lobster roll all at one time. We will go to those in the future.
Al's Seafood was a very nice restaurant. I like the way the joint is set up. The steamers were very, very good, and so was the lobster. The only complaint I have was that the lobster was small, but for the price, I guess it was ok. They should up the price a little and give you a bigger lobster.
Great place for family friendly seafood. Its always fresh and priced reasonably. I like that you can always get a baked potato instead of fries. Plus they serve a nice selection of wine and beer.
