While living in North Conway a few summers ago I frequented the Panda Garden. Although not the best Chinese Food I've ever had, it was the best that I found in North Conway. I loved the fried rice more than anything, and would occasionally go and just get an order of fried rice. The buffet was a nice size and I always left stuffed.

The staff always seemed friendly and helpful, making suggestions when I was feeling indecisive. One of the servers quickly learned my name and would welcome me when I came in, or would say hello to me when I would go to the movies. Also, in the past (not sure if they still do) they used to give a small discount on movie tickets.

I have eaten at Panda Garden for about 6 years now. Not only is the food wonderful, but the staff has always been friendly. Buffet is great, unfortunatly since we don't live in the big city, a large buffet is not worth doing because we don't have the population like the city folk are used to.
Just give it a try, the fact that they have been in business for 6 + years should say something for there reputation.

My wife and I ate here because they had a "buffet". The so called "buffet" consisted of a small assortment of food selection which was GREASY and tasteless. The waitress never greeted us, only asked what we needed. I went to the buffet to get food, and the waitress walked right in front of me to take an order and never even said "sorry" or commented that she was rude. Overall, food was scarce, expensive, bad tasting, and service was terrible!!! Another review by someone before us suggested they got sick an hour later. So, please, stay away from this slimy grease pit!
