The garden is best known for its beautiful rose garden, with over 1,700 rose bushes featuring over 125 varieties, it is a veritable feast for the senses, a riot of scent and color that fills the air and offers a pleasant way to spend a quite couple of hours in the outdoors. Besides the rose garden, there is a Japanese garden as well as the original 19th century picturesque Carriage house. Since 2005, visitors can also appreciate the Lydia Fuller Bottomley Garden with its marble statues and reflecting pool.
