There's no doubt the food is great at The Front Porch Restaurant... Service is beyond excellent and the atmosphere is to be admired (very modern romantic with an upscale crowd and set in the center of town with lots of windows to watch passersby). However, the menu is somewhat limited and very pricey. My boyfriend had Filet Mignon - good but not exceptional. I had a bowl of clam chowder and a lobster tail appetizer, on ice with cocktail sauce. Both were good but no better than any other restaurant we dined at. It's a great place and fun to visit once, but we'll be likely to choose another next time.
Dining at the Front Porch was exceptional....beautifully presented appetizers and entrees. The presentation was only surpassed by the taste. Above it all, the friendliness of the staff and the owner, Wayne, made for a wonderful evening out in Qgunquit....I'll be back again and again...
Can't wait to go back: Love The Porch - have been visiting Ogunquit for at least 20 years but have not spent time at the Porch until I started going without the grown family and with the female friends. The guys are so much fun, so friendly and the comedian last year was a fabulous addition. Hope the female vocalist, piano player there during late July,2006 will be back late July 2007. From Ct and wish we had places like that around here. I have been married or 38 years, love my husband but have been blessed to have met a man at the Porch who has become my friend and maybe a brother I never had. I adore him and we have only an email communication but I always hope to run into him when I go there. He makes every care in the world go away when I see him smile and I think in my life, it was meant to be that I met him there. I hope this place never closes as my heart will break if this man is not in my life as a friend

A little sappy.....I wanted to read about the food - not your new friend.
