thank goodness at last in the whole of maine i managed to get a decent vegetarian meal- on my list of top 10 vegetarian joints. wine selection also good.

A must go in Kennebunkport.

I've gone to this restaurant several times over various years, each time was great.
However the first time was wonderful.
We had the nicest waitress who made the entire meal fun and enjoyable.
The Clam Chowder was excellent.
Incredibly Creamy, Loaded with Clams, Diced Potatoes, Great Flavor.
It's one of the best Chowder's I've had.

I've also had the Steamed Clams several times.
Only 1 of the times I've had them they were fairly dirty, but after you washed them in the broth they were fine.

I've also had the Fried Clams which were good and others I've eaten with have ordered the Lobster Roll, which was long, and the bun was nicely toasted. The fries are good too.

There are several TVs all around the bar room which were turned to various stations so it was easy to catch the game.

Overall, Great Staff, EXCELLENT Chowder, Great Food, and Nice Environment.
If you are ever in Kennebunkport, stop in for lunch.
Make sure to get a Cup of Chowdah.

its OK..read on: Nice atmosphere, seafood was good, NY strip steak was not, spotty service.
