This was one of the cleanest and most fun campgrounds we have ever visited. Wonderful activities for the kids. Special theme week-ends (Pig Roast and lobsters and Sunday brunches) Owners worked their hearts out.
We'll be spending more time there next summer.

    by this place sucks!

Vacationland Campground was not up to par. The campsites were tiny and definitely not worth the money. The campfire pits cannot be used to cook on as they are merely a pile of rocks in a ring. The hospitality was anything but wonderful. No one was at the desk or even working when I arrived (on a weekday afternoon) and refused to let my party back onto the property after we did not spend the night one night (mind you, we had already paid). Don't waste your money on this campground! There are other campgrounds close by on different lakes/ponds that would probably be a much better experience.

Wow! Sounds to me like this party was unhappy because they misbehaved in the campground. We went there and had an fantastic time. The sites are extremely large, fire pits are built by a local mason and the folks that run the campground are incredibly friendly. I don't know where this person went but it wasn't vacationland campground for sure.
