User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsMy favorite place for SUSHI! They have by far the best sushi in Maine. The rice is cooked to perfection, not too hard, not too soft and mushy. I think rice plays a very important part in a sushi roll. Although the sushi rolls are quite smaller than the other 'competitors', their sushi just melts in your mouth. I'm becoming a regular here. I come by almost twice a week. DEFINITELY worth a try!

I go to Fuji's often, and am usually satisfied with the atmosphere, and the staff. I went last night and as I was eating a maki roll, bit on something hard. It was a piece of glass! My boyfriend brought it to the attention of our waitress who said "oh no, I shouldnt say this but it happens. We're busy" She offered to get us a new order, or take that item off of our bill. OBVIOUSLY I couldnt eat anything else, not only was my mouth cut, but I didnt know the source of the broken glass, and was not going to risk it happening again. We were unable to talk to a manager, but were obviously dissatisfied with their sollution. I just am so confused as to how she could have told us "it happens" and not comp my meal as I couldnt eat anything else!!!

THis place is great! I have been in Japanese places around the world, and this place is at the top. The food is great, and the staff was nice.
