Slightly Disappointed: I had been told what a remarkable place Natasha's is. Went there on a Friday at lunch. No waiting. They had their summer seasonal menu which looked very inviting--I had a hard time choosing what to try.

My dining partner went for the Cobb Salad and I opted for the Nicoise. After a very short and painless wait, the salads arrived. Both salads looked outstanding. The Nicoise was spread out and beautifully arranged on a rectangle platter. The string beans were perfectly blanched as were the parisienne scooped red bliss and sweet potatoes. The soft boiled egg was done to perfection and the roasted tomato wedges were sweet and succulent. The olives were not nicoise olives as the menu stated but they were kalamatas so I wasn't complaining. A toasted croistini accompanied the salad and dressing a very light and tasty champagne vinaigrette. Then came the tuna which I was greatly anticipating. I originally envisioned a meduim rare seared tuna steak thinly sliced and fanned out over the mixed spring greens, but what I got was a large chunk of white canned tuna.

Everything up until that point was right on the money and so elegantly done, even the garnish of chive sprigs so precisely laid out over the top. To see the canned tuna ruined what could have been a simply amazing Nicoise. That alone changed a grand slam into a long single. I originally wouldn't have minded paying $12 for this lunch dish--the presentation alone was worth it, but the canned tuna really turned me off from it.

I would definately go back to Natasha's and try other items on the menu. I did try my partner's Cobb Salad which was very well done and tasty. The other menu items looked inviting as well. We didn't eat dessert, but the display table with all the sweet treats was incredibly laid out and the center of the dining area. I might even go back just to try the desserts! Even though I was slightly disappointed with my meal, overall it was a great place to go and I shall return. The ambiance was very romantic and cozy and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Different and YUMMY!: The appetizer plate was full of fantastic things I had never had before. The soybeans, and grilled salmon was my favorite...but trust me when I say "it was all good!"

Back to the salmon...I must say the BEST I've ever had. I'm picky about that.

The appetizers were enough for a meal so we didn't really get around to ordering a actual dinner dish, but by the looks of the menu, and the food around me, I have no doubt it is all good.

My friends and I ordered 3 different deserts to split out between us. Can you say Heaven??

I would go back in a heartbeat. It would also be a good choice fro girls night out, to take a date, and maybe a romantic evening!!
