    Wow, what a relief.. My experience with the Village Inn Resturant was excellent. I needed help to plan for my husbands 60th birthday and spoke to the owner directly . She was extremely pleasant and helped me plan the whole party,answered alll my questions and was able to meet all my needs. The new resturaunt is beautiful and everyone I encountered was very friendly. Great atmosphere, will make my husbands birthday very special. P/S After the planning... I decided to stay for a bowl of fish chowder. Yummy !!! Everything about the chowder was fresh and served with plenty of fish. Definately 2 thumbs up !

    I just went a few weeks ago and had the best seafood casserole I've ever had. There was haddock under a pile of shrimp, lobster and the best scallops I've tasted in a long time. All of it was covered by what tasted like a layer of crushed up Ritz crackers. Awesome!!

    NO! I hope they re-build SOON!!: I just heard the terrible news that VI has burned! I haven't heard the re-build strategy yet - but they MUST!

    VI is my weekend lunch date with my Mom.

    The food is fantastic, the staff are always top notch. Prices are right!!

    My personal opinion...best seafood, better price than anything on the coast line.
